"Deep Thoughts"

I got a book today. Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey. Very funny.

Here's a quote:

"If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason."

Not sure why, but that makes me laugh every time I read it.
